Artist’s Statement 創作理念 :

廖建順主席奈米靈動油畫精緻作品：【神說～道之宗旨】。

(一) 釋迦牟尼佛出生以印度的故事開始。

(二) 釋迦摩尼佛從印度到中國学習佛;路上一邊拜師和一邊看佛學書,一天炎熱的天氣他到達菩提樹下打坐,悟到了「道」中經典,道之宗旨了解、悟出佛学高深,又能夠教化人心險惡,度化他人改邪歸正。

(三) 我的作品中就是表達,求佛學要效法古人之精髓,學習神說的道德精神,治國平天下,給所有的人有食衣住行育樂等,生活自由的善念之心,遠離戰爭,愛和平之善念,然後;做一個天王之王,愛世界上所有之子民。

(四) 總之,「神說」的經典要一代一代傳承。才能將好的方法用於治國平天下,論壇道之宗旨也才能成就為「天王之王」。”  神說”天王之王的大有為之「道」也。

(1) The story begins in India with the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha.

(2) Shakyamuni Buddha journeyed from India to China to study Buddhism. Along the way, he sought teachers and read Buddhist scriptures. One scorching day, he arrived beneath the Bodhi tree and entered meditation, where he attained enlightenment and understood the profound essence of the “Dao.” He grasped the purpose of the Way, realized the depth of Buddhist philosophy, and gained the wisdom to transform the human heart—guiding people away from evil and back to righteousness.

(3) Through my artwork, I express the belief that the pursuit of Buddhist wisdom must follow the essence of the ancient sages, and embrace the moral spirit revealed by divine teachings. By governing the nation and bringing peace to the world, we should cultivate kindness that ensures all people have food, clothing, shelter, transportation, education, and joy. Let us cherish freedom, reject war, and love peace—thus becoming a “King of Kings” who loves all beings in the world.

(4) In conclusion, the sacred classics of “God Said” must be passed down from generation to generation. Only then can their wisdom be applied to governing and bringing harmony to the world. The forum of the Dao will then fulfill its mission, and the great Way of “God Said: King of Kings” shall be realized.

Dr. Liao Chien-Sun: A Journey of Art, Innovation, and Cultural Heritage

Holding a Ph.D. in Modern Art Creation and Aesthetics from the International Academy of Education (I.A.E.) and currently serving as the President of the Nano Dynamic Research Institute, Liao Chien-Sun’s artistic journey has always been intimately intertwined with education, innovation, and cultural heritage. Born in 1954 in the scenic landscape of Taitung, he was nurtured by indigenous cultures and the profound beauty of the mountains and sea. Proficient in diverse fields of cultural and creative arts, Dr. Liao has dedicated his life to art education, earning numerous prestigious accolades early in his career. His honors include being the first teacher in Taichung City to receive the “Certified Teacher for Artistically Gifted and Special Education” certificate, the 1982 National “Golden Wheel Award” for Outstanding Economic Construction Teachers, the 1983 “Outstanding Educator Award” (Counseling Category), the 1989 “Outstanding Personnel Award” from the R.O.C. Craft Education Association, the 1994 “Outstanding Craft Educator Award,” and the 2001 official “Certified Special Education Teacher for Artistically Gifted Students” credential.

Dr. Liao’s artistic footprint spans dozens of solo exhibitions and hundreds of group shows worldwide.
