國際藝壇矚目，一場專為全球「學術界藝術家與教育工作者」打造的國際專屬盛事——“Professor With Profession” International Art Competition & Online Exhibition（「藝境．職心」2026印度國際藝術競賽暨線上展），於4月4日正式公佈獲獎名單，陳歡博士(Dr. Huan Chen)喜獲印度藝術界最具權威指標性國際博士金牌獎 Raja Ravi Varma Awards (拉賈·拉維·瓦爾瑪獎) ，捷報傳回台灣！

擁有美國北方大學藝術博士學位(Northern University, Alhambra, California)的陳歡，出生於彰化縣埔鹽鄉，從小在樸實農村長大，早年從事電影美術指導（如，侯孝賢《戀戀風塵》海報）、室內設計、廣告設計，後轉為專職畫家。是一位在當代藝術界享有「夢幻騎士」與「詩人畫家」美譽，其創作風格介於具象與半抽象之間，以半抽象風格聞名，融合潑彩與水墨，常以自動化滴流技法呈現深邃意境，探討寧靜內心，對當代藝術的深刻批判，以及給予時下社會生活的一些反思。作品富有「抒情抽象主義」（Lyrical Abstraction）特質（為抽象表現主義中強調情感抒發與色彩和諧的分支；其獨特之處在於融合「數列構成的理性秩序」、「東方禪意的山水意境」、西方現代油畫技巧與情感節律交織而成的詩性空間，形成兼具國際當代性與東方文人底蘊的個人風格），擅長以簡潔有力的構圖、色塊序列與漸層，表現自然山水的夢幻詩意與生命力，作品常帶有文學性與抒情特質。融合詩意與哲思又具視覺張力的作品廣受國際肯定並獲收藏，多次受邀參與國際重要展覽，包括威尼斯雙年展、義大利米蘭世博、法國羅浮宮國際當代藝術展等，在國際大展屢屢獲獎，包括法國秋季沙龍展、韓國、日本及印度等，並常年舉辦多場個展與世界巡迴展，其創作橫跨亞洲、歐洲與北美，展現其深厚的藝術實力與國際視野。

藝術家自述

我的畫作中，透過簡潔有力的構圖描繪出創作生命力，畫面上每個色面與區塊，並置成遞增、遞減序列或層疊排列，將大自然的形式與色彩變成一種數列的構成美感。

在構圖上，色塊的序列，合乎形式法則中的「重複」與「漸層」之要求，並塑造自然調和的氣氛，用疏密表現出高山峻嶺之雄偉。以西洋油彩的媒介顯示如詩歌一般的、帶有東方禪意的夢幻山水。

在藝術創作當中，我以大自然為師心存崇敬之情；對萬事萬物懷舊情愫的追求；對當代藝術的深刻批判；以及給予時下社會生活的一些反思⋯凡此種種，在作品內以不著痕跡表現出也讓觀賞者可以體會覺察出來。

這30年的創作歷程與因緣，隨著年紀的增長，無一不是對自己及社會的省思，而在追求當代藝術的的過程，心中充滿對時下社會中充斥各式處境的衝擊，更加深對故鄉的情思在心中不斷的燃燒著。 隨著歲月的累積，對藝術的觀念不斷的成長茁壯，也將心中的種種喜悅、苦楚轉化為另一股創作的力量。

這些對自己的作品賦予最強烈的抒情方式，在每次的創作中都自由發揮。也就是說，每件作品都注入不同的生命力與創作的熱情，以及對人生各階段的不同體認。

My paintings utilize concise yet powerful compositions to depict the vitality of life. Each plane of color and segmented block is juxtaposed in ascending or descending sequences or layered arrangements, transforming the forms and colors of nature into an aesthetic of mathematical progression.

In terms of composition, the sequence of color blocks adheres to the formal principles of "repetition" and "gradation," creating a naturally harmonious atmosphere. Through the interplay of density and space, I convey the majesty of towering peaks and rugged mountains. Using the medium of Western oil paints, I present ethereal landscapes that possess the lyricism of poetry and the meditative essence of Eastern Zen.

In my artistic practice, I look to nature as my teacher with a heart full of reverence. My work pursues a sense of nostalgia for all things, offers a profound critique of contemporary art, and reflects upon modern social life. These elements are woven into my pieces—untraceable yet perceptible—allowing the viewer to intuitively sense and experience them.

This thirty-year creative journey has been a continuous process of self-reflection and social contemplation. As I have pursued contemporary art, I have been deeply impacted by the various conditions of modern society, which has only intensified the burning passion for my homeland within my heart. With the accumulation of years, my artistic concepts have grown robust, transforming every joy and hardship into a renewed creative force.

I imbue my works with the most intense lyrical expression, allowing for total freedom in every creation. Each piece is infused with a unique vitality, creative passion, and a distinct understanding of the various stages of life.
