Artist Statement
Art has the role of saving the planet, because the one who makes it saves his soul by bringing beauty into the souls of others. My painting "boats by the sea" represents the silence, but also the unknown depth of the sea. The painting resembles the sea: looking, it shows you its peace and beauty, to the one who looks at it. Like a painting, the sea is not what we see on the surface, but what is inside it: beauty, depth, sadness, truth. The sea does not save the world, but is part of it. Water is part of saving the planet
