THE PLASTIC ARTIST LOYDA ABREU OF DOMINICAN NATIONALITY PRESENTS HER PAINTING SERIES TITLED CRISALIDAS ARBOREAS, WITH AN ABSTRACT STYLE. SUN PAINTING IS INSPIRED BY CRYSALIDAS. It is a metaphor for our society. Women are in a state of transition towards social metamorphosis. We become aware of the gender inequalities that affect us, and that is why we decided to draw up strategies to solve this problem in different spaces, individually or collectively, to denounce patriarchal violence.

Visual Artist from the Dominican Republic.

Born in Santo Domingo. Dominican Republic. Lawyer by profession graduated from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo UASD in 1991. She studied Plastic Arts in Santo Domingo and has studied Art in Barcelona and France. She has participated in more than 10 Collective Exhibitions in his country, and with more than 30 International Collective Exhibitions, in New York, Brazil, Ecuador, France, Rome, Spain, Barcelona, Granada, Valencia, Galicia, Egypt, Syria, Libya, Korea of Sur, and India.  Her painting is Abstract, her technique is varied, and her works have been defined by having a lot of personality, cheerful and with great color.

For her artistic work as Cultural Manager, she has been the subject of several recognitions, including.

She is an active member of the Dominican College of Plastic Artists CODAP.

I am currently practicing as a Lawyer, Visual Artist and Cultural Manager.
