Liesel Cerna is a Physics teacher and self-taught artist born in Peru, she moved to Brazil in 2013. In Brazil, she studied Physics at UNESP university, standing out as the best student during the 4 years of graduation. She is currently doing his master's degree in Materials Science at the same university. In her painting, the Andean roots are always present, in vibrant, strong and joyful colors, in the works, rescuing and at the same time updating, to the sharpest eyes or those, only contemplative, facets of this rich tradition. Her first exhibitions were in Brazil from February 2021, winning an Honorable Mention award, then he participated in international exhibitions in Turkey, France, India, Norway, Mexico, Venezuela, Bolivia, Thailand, Austria and Cuba. She is currently a member of the Carlos Sánchez Gallery consortium, which is a cultural consortium of Art and Literature. Artwork details:
