ARTIST STATEMENT

We can save the world by living in harmony with nature, respecting and loving all the creatures and wonders that this planet has to offer. Like a child, who playing to be a princess embraces our magical world through her innocence eyes"

Amalia Gil-Merino

(born in Spain) studied in Paris and Germany, where she graduated from the University of Berlin in Art and Archaeology, in Salzburg (Austria) with Ai Weiwei and Norbert Bisky and at the L’Accademia dell’Arte Florence (Italy). Currently she is at the SOAS University of London.

Exhibited Worldwide：

BORDERS-FUTURE LANDSCAPES La Biennale di Venezia, 15. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura or in  Germany (Kestner Museum,  Spanish Embassy Hannover 2010) among others.

Her artwork is recognized with various awards like Premio Goya (Gran Lyceu Barcelona) and the "Pablo Picasso" Award commemorating the 80th Anniversary of "Guernica".
