Artistic Concept:

Through my artwork I want to express "Joy of Living", stimulate the fantasy and promote a positive attitude

with colors and shapes. I believe in experimentalism, exposing in my art the exotic, erotic, ecological and humorous.

The zeitgeist I am 8-15 years ahead, for example as the first (neon)artist in Germany I started Urn Art.

Since more than 20 years with numerous actions/happenings in press/tv I have shown commitment for

preserving nature in combination with technology. An intact nature is so important for the next generations.

Therefore, I show the beauty of nature that needs to be preserved.

In addition, I support Brillen Weltweit (Eyewear Worldwide) with my glasses collection charity activities.

1.Title: Wondering Monkey II

   Medium: Neon Picture Object. Orange neon installation on acrylic painting,

3D artificial fish. Neon Zoo Series.

Description: As early as 1998 I drew attention to the nature that is changing through human hands:

The fish on the jungle tree symbolizes that as a result, animals are losing their original habitats.

2. Title: Nature Birth

Medium: Mixed media, among other gold leaf, acrylic painting on acrylic plates.

    Size: Tryptichon (3 parts), each 100 x 61 cm, total 100 x 183 cm

    Year: 2004

Description: Nature birth shows the everlasting creation.

3. Title: Chinese Goldfish With Pagoda

    Medium: Neon Picture Object. Mixed media, among other yellow neon installation

on collages, watercolor collages, glass stones, 3D artificial plant, 3D-fishes

             of fabric material from, photo of Chinese Buddha.

Size: 113 x 94 cm

Year: 1989

Description: This work I created one year after a travel to China. I was always fascinated by the parks that were created, which were perfectly modeled on nature. In the ponds there were usually numerous huge goldfish with fan-like fins that move as if in the wind. Two of the most beautiful specimens of fabric that I brought back from this trip inspired me to create the composition. Of course the "laughing Buddha" (I photographed) - a rarity - could not be missing. The aura of the Buddha penetrates the rock and glows with yellow neon light. The original can only be reached with a few climbing skills, carved into a rock wall and admired near Hangzhou. Clean air and water are the basis for healthy nature and healthy and happy men on our planet.

Description: Master piece of neon art. Love Star Series.

The nuclear disaster in Fukushima was in 2011 and we've read again and again ever since of enigmatic mass starfish dying.

When people don't respect nature, animals die first, then it affects us humans.

5. Title: The Devil Rests in Paradise

    Medium: Neon Picture Object. Green neon installation on acrylic painting, wooden flamingos,

3D-mask from Mexiko, palm leaves, metal man, 3D artificial frogs.

Year: 1997

Description: This work is the main opera of the exhibition.

The Devil Rests in Paradise-Diabolic Performance with Bodypainting.

This main work of art was created during my first stay on Turks & Caicos Islands

(British West Indies, at the southernmost end of the Bahamas), when this island wasstill a paradise without tourists. 

The impressions were so heavenly that they inspired me to create this work of art: Because in paradise even the devil rests.

During my subsequent visits, however, I noticed that people everywhere-even in the most beautiful places 

on earth - bring their home-made problems with love,work, environmental pollution, etc..
